Through the BYD APP, users can remotely perform operations such as door unlock/lock, air conditioning control, driver/passenger seat ventilation/heating, etc... making the car more convenient and enjoying a worry-free experience at no extra cost.
The status of the vehicle’s power, doors and windows, tire pressure, mileage, power supply gear, charging status, etc. can be checked at any time through the BYD APP. Pay more attention to your car, the more relieved you will be.
Linking the BYD App to your car is quick and easy. When your vehicle is handed over, we will be happy to assist you with the following steps:
Download the BYD App – the app is available in the App Store (iOS) and the Google Play Store (Android).
Create an account – register using the email address that is registered with your BYD dealer and set a password.
Connect your car – enter the VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) or scan the QR code in your BYD’s vehicle menu. If the QR code does not appear, select on your infotainment screen: Settings > System > Remote control. Still don’t see a QR code? Please contact your BYD dealer.
Confirm the connection – follow the on-screen instructions and verify your vehicle via the BYD App.
Everything under control! – once the connection is complete, you can remotely control functions, schedule charging sessions and view driving data.
